Course Objective

Course objectives are to learn how to effectively set up, plan and
perform an economic research project, and how to report and communicate
on this in a clear and transparent manner, both orally and in written

Course Content

The MSc thesis finalizes your MSc program and provides you with an
opportunity to apply what you have learned. In the period after your
graduation, your thesis is also acts as a showcase of your abilities.

As you are graduating as a master of science, your thesis should show
your ability to set up and conduct research, as well as report about it.
Your thesis can either take the form of a report or a scientific paper.
The latter is more challenging, and would provide a good start for a
submission to a scientific journal. The choice between these forms is
yours, but it would be wise to discuss it with your supervisor

Teaching Methods

Students will mostly work by themselves, i.e. writing a thesis. Support
is provided from the supervisor as well as through meetings with fellow
