Orientation Literature and Society 2


Course Objective

This course aims to (1) provide space to reflect on studying at
university; (2) familiarize students with important topics and research
questions in the program Literature and Society: English, and literary
studies more generally; (3) familiarize students with the different
roles that the study of humanities can play inside and outside academia;
(4) enhance students' ability to envisage future prospects and a career
after graduating.

Course Content

This course acquaints students with studying at university, the field of
literary studies, and career perspectives. The course addresses various
themes, including research-based education and career orientation.

Teaching Methods

Lectures, 1 x 2 hours per week.

Method of Assessment

None; attendance is compulsory.
