Course Objective

To obtain a thorough understanding of the mechanisms underlying cardiac
disease and current diagnostic and therapeutic modalities. To get
familiar with state-of-the-art knowledge and scientific frontiers in the
field of cardiac disease.

Course Content

This course focuses on cardiac disease, with specific emphasis on heart
failure, cardiac arrhythmias, pulmonary hypertension and right
ventricular failure and myocardial infarction.
Clinicians and experimental researchers active in the area of scientific
research for cardiac disease provide the lectures. Students are required
to read scientific articles and to participate in scientific
