Course ObjectiveTo apply the skills and knowledge learned in a research project and gain
experience as researcher under supervision of a VU-staff member.
Course ContentThe internship involves all aspects of research, including a literature
survey, practical execution consisting of data collection and/or data
preparation as well as data analyses and presenting the work in a
scientific report and in a presentation to the Department.
The internship should be related to genes, behaviour and health, and is
likely to take place in the Department of Biological Psychology.
Other options are possible, after approval of the RM committee, but the
internship should take place within an academical or research setting
and the internship has to be of sufficient academic quality with
adequate on-site supervision guaranteed.
Teaching MethodsConducting a Research project, under supervision of VU-staff.
Method of AssessmentResearch report, oral presentation and evaluation based on attitude and
execution of project.
