Course Content

In this course, all students from the Oral Health Sciences programme get
together with the profile directors and other staff members of the
different graduation profiles. Students from the Orthodontics department
are also invited to participate. This course is meant to develop the
student’s capacity to analyse, present and discuss interdisciplinary
clinical cases in an interdisciplinary setting. In the first year,
students learn to approach a patient case from different perspectives.
In the two years that follow, students will carry on to improve their
skills in writing up a treatment plan, reflecting on the chosen
approach, and transferring knowledge to future cases and their
presentation skills. The presenter is expected to consult other
graduation profiles when preparing the presentation. Students can also
present in duos.

During the seminar, the presentations are critically appraised by
everyone from the points of view of all graduation profiles. All
students are expected to actively participate in the discussions.
