Tutorial Philosophy of Law


Course Objective

The student acquires in-depth knowledge and understanding of a specific
leading philosopher or
key issue in contemporary Philosophy of Law.

Course Content

During the Tutorial Philosophy of Law, a student will conduct research
in the philosophy of law on an individual basis under the supervision of
a teacher (the tutor). This research serves as a preparation or first
orientation for the Master thesis and will result in a paper or an oral
examination. The
content of the tutorial and the choice of the tutor depend on the
individual research interests of the student. Students who would like to
do the tutorial can make an appointment with Dr. A.J. Wolthuis, who
will advise them on the choice of the tutor.

Teaching Methods


Method of Assessment

Written paper or oral exam.


The list of required readings will be assigned by the supervisor of het
present tutorial.
