Elementary Akkadian and A History of Ancient Mesopotamian Literature 2


Course Objective

After finishing this course, the student will have a basic knowledge of
Akkadian allowing her/him to read a variety of texts with some help,
which includes texts from the Laws of Hammurabi.

Course Content

Teaching of grammar, vocabulary and cuneiform signs. This course
continues and expands on what the students have learned in Elementary
Akkadian 1. Student will read their first "real" texts from the Laws of
