Political Science

The international, selective and research-oriented Master’s programme in Political Science focuses on how processes of transnationalisation and globalisation affect politics, political institutions and public policy-making within, between, and across national states, as well as within the European Union and the global domain. As a consequence of these processes, the distinctions between the national and the international, the public and the private, and the state and the market become blurred. In the Master, these developments are studied from various theoretical perspectives, and with due attention to methodological training, within the programme’s three specialisation tracks: International relations & transnational governance, Comparative European politics and Global environmental governance.
