Do you believe it is important to consider the role of people, organisations and cultures in the design, modelling, and sharing of information? If so, then our one-year master programme in Information Sciences might be the right choice for you!
The first semester includes a methodological course on Research Methodology and Thesis Design, as well as courses building the competences for the digital transition and sustainability like Digitalization and Sustainability, Knowledge Organisation, and Software Architecture. The second semester focuses on an individual research project, next to which students choose two electives to specialise in competencies for entrepreneurship and IT consultancy, or digital society and consultancy for sustainability.
Throughout the entire programme, the Portfolio Digital Transition and Sustainability guides students to reflect on the lessons learned in the courses and build their own IS portfolio.
Graduates from the Master in Information Sciences typically move on to pursue careers as a.o. IT consultants/Data Analysts, Junior Digital Architects, and Chief Sustainability Officers. They work at leading ICT companies; highly digitalized companies in other sectors, such as Energy, Banking, Transportation and Logistics; and the IT departments of public sector organizations, such as Ministries and Municipalities.
