Public Administration

The Pre-Master's in Public Administration serves as a bridge year for students holding a bachelor's degree from a university of applied sciences (HBO) or a research university (WO) that does not sufficiently prepare them for the Master's in Public Administration: Artificial Intelligence & Governance. The Pre-Master's program focuses on developing the academic thinking and analytical skills necessary for students to successfully transition into the VU Master's in Public Administration: Artificial Intelligence & Governance

In preparation for the Master’s program, the Pre-Master’s program places significant emphasis on writing academic papers and on the methods and techniques of public administration research.
