Minor Biomedische beeldvorming
Description
This minor addresses the physical and physico-chemical principles and
modern applications of biomedical imaging techniques, including X-ray
techniques, PET, MRI, fluorescence and Raman microscopy, non-linear
laser techniques, AFM and optical coherence tomography. Students also
acquire practical skills in image processing and analysis. The minor is
concluded with a group project, in which an innovative research proposal
on imaging technology is developed. Completing this minor is required
for obtaining the certificate “Clinical Physicist” of the Dutch NVKF.
