Doel vak
The overall objective of the course is to provide students with anoverview of relevant methods and techniques for environmental resource
management and to teach them how to apply these methods. At the end of
the course students should:
1. Understand and be able to explain the main methods and approaches
used to support environmental and resource management;
2. Be able to apply several of the learnt methods and approaches to
environmental problems;
3. Be able to interpret, analyse, and critically reflect on the results
gained from applying the methods and approaches of the selected modules.
Inhoud vak
This course provides students with a hands-on introduction to fouranalytical methods used to support environmental and resource
management: economic analysis, scenario analysis, spatial analysis, and
stakeholder analysis. The methods will be taught through a combination
of lectures, practical classes, and (computer) exercises. The methods
will be applied on (simplified) environmental problems, and students
will reflect on the results.
