Doel vak
After successful completion of the course, students:1. Are able to design and execute a management consultant research
project and develop meaningful interpretations and presentations of
their findings;
2. Have reflected upon themselves with regard to taking responsibility
for their own actions and his/her personal development.
Inhoud vak
The main objective of the course is to familiarize students with some ofthe most significant challenges pertaining to conducting a management
consultancy project. The course encourages an even-handed appreciation
of various theoretical perspectives addressing tensions and
opportunities inherently connected to business administration, and
empirically investigating an applied research question. By design and
executing a management consultancy project students will become
acquainted with the challenges that researchers face when considering
management at large. The purpose of the course is not only to introduce
students to some of the most fundamental issues in management
consultancy research. To accomplish these teaching goals, it is implied
that student are able to communicate their views, both verbally and
