Doel vak

Academic and Research Skills:
- Analytical thinking will be trained by analyzing different cases and
by providing arguments for different solutions

Bridging Theory and Practice:
- Theoretical concepts are applied to real-world problems
- Accounting skills and newly gained knowledge on accounting information
systems are applied in SAP

Social Professional Skills:
- The revenue cycle (order-to-cash) is executed and analyzed in groups

Inhoud vak

Accounting and IT Systems I addresses key topics of accounting
information systems and their use to provide accurate and timely
information to support effective decision-making in organizations and to
provide information relevant to the organization’s stakeholders. The
well-functioning of accounting information systems is vital for
organizations, therefore internal controls and risk management are
important topics that need to be addressed in order to mitigate,
identify and react to fraudulent acts that are threats to modern
organizations and ensure systems availability.
