Inhoud vak
Are digital innovations inherently good for business? What about for society? What competing values are at stake when digital technologies connect us in new ways? What decisions need to be made when a new invention opens up unprecedented opportunities to help, but also to harm? In this course, we explore ethical and moral theories and learn to apply them to contemporary phenomena in the world of business and digital innovation. By the end of the course, students should be familiar with ethical debates and be able to apply a range of perspectives in order to show different ways of analysing the potential and actual impacts of digital innovations in a business setting.
