Overige informatie

This course is a combination of lectures, discussions, case studies, and a flipped classroom setting. Students are taught how to improve the customer experience by identifying, mapping, and correcting the touchpoints along the customers’ journey. Academic and practical inputs from the lectures will bring the topic not only to life but give the students a state of the art perspective on how companies can succeed in delivering on the customer experience. Academic articles on specific topics in customer experience management and case studies will deepen specific aspects and challenges in customer experience management. Besides the lectures, the “Customer Experience Navigator” will be one of the major resources for students. It provides a guideline on how to successfully align customer segments and their decision making and purchasing processes.

We also adopt a flipped classroom principle in the course. Students will have to teach a tutorial on a specific customer experience topic in a group and have to hand in a reflection paper on the chosen topic in the end of the course.
